The Tricolate device has a number of innovative features that separates it as the most advanced filter coffee brewer yet.
Eliminates uneven input whilst brewing
An engineered shower head has been designed to disperse water evenly across the coffee at not only a consistent height but also at a specific flow rate.
Better coverage
A more efficient saturation can be achieved for the bloom part of brewing, wetting all of the coffee grounds in seconds without needing to stir.
No more high and dry coffee grounds
The vertical walls result in all of the coffee being in all of the water all of the time.
Laboratory grade filter paper
The German manufactured paper delivers a more consistent pore structure. With a smaller filter size than other devices you get less paper taint in your coffee.
Extract more coffee.
The 80mm wide flat brew bed increases surface area and allows for more even water to coffee contact, this results in a higher extraction.
No need for an expensive goose neck kettle
Achieve much higher extraction yields than ever before. Taste coffee that has greater balance, sweetness and clarity. For the best heat stability and durability the device is made from Tritan® plastic. Tritan® doesn’t contain BPA, BPS or any other bisphenols. It is a clear plastic that retains its colour and gloss even after hundreds of dishwasher cycles. The carry case is made from polypropylene ( PP ) which is also BPA free and food safe. The device is injection moulded in Australia.

EXPERIENCE SPECIALTY COFFEE IN A NEW WAY!
FAST Specialty Coffee filters are designed to let the flavour of your coffee stand alone, with no paper flavour and as little impact on the coffee’s flavours as possible. FAST uses an incredible paper made from Abacá Plant Fibre, the strongest natural plant fibre, which allows for a thinner paper with the same structural integrity of other thicker paper filters. So now you can brew faster at a finer grind, getting a higher extraction without worrying about choking your brew.
With FAST you can rediscover coffees. Reinvent your coffee brewing recipes to bring out the uniqueness of each coffee, with new flavour profiles and cup characteristics. FAST is the ideal filter for experimentation in the search for the best possible extraction.
Sibarist is devoting the same care and attention to the filter that goes into obtaining an exceptional coffee. Paying attention to detail throughout the whole supply chain, from the origin of the raw material on estates and plantations to its local processing and manufacture in Barcelona. Reflecting the values and standards that characterize Specialty Coffee by focusing on quality above quantity. The whole process of making filters is reflected in the cup, in the form of possibilities, irregularities, aromas and flavours. FAST is all about measuring up to the highest quality. FAST is made in Barcelona to be able to guarantee the quality, uniformity and traceability of the entire process.
The SIBARIST purpose was to create a very unique filter from all the existing coffee filters, with an outstanding flow rate and drawdown using the best possible materials, with the same care for coffee, produced in Barcelona. This is a product with a history similar to that of a coffee bean. Its whole process is reflected in the cup, in the form of possibilities, irregularities, aromas and flavours.
• Silicone Rubber handle
• 501 Grade Stainless Steel Material
• Rounded needles for safety
• 25 pockets and 30 needles
• 0.35mm diameter
Our take on the Weiss Distribution Technique or WDT; one of the longest standing espresso distribution methods. The handle is made of soft silicone rubber with 25 thoughtfully placed holes for a wide array of needle combinations. 30 needles come as standard so you can instantly replace any bends or breaks.
Forever Materials
Our silicone rubber handle is high on indestructible and can tolerate any regiment of dish-washing and bar service. The needles are 501 grade stainless steel for flexibility and corrosion resistance.
30 Needles
Don’t worry about inevitably dropping the Comb and bending a needle. With 30 spares you’re seconds away from an easy replacement. They also come in a handy tube with lid so you won’t lose them in the fray.
Goldilocks Width
Too thick and you leave deep trails in the grinds. Too thin and you don’t get any distribution done. 0.35mm is our choice for the best compromise. And if you’re finding the Comb is still not quite right for your grinds, you can adjust the width between the needles thanks to the 25 pockets.
Safety First
Most WDT tools come with stock standard acupuncture needles which are super sharp. Our needles are rounded. No more finger pricks or basket scratches.
Combinatorial
A closely packed hexagon or a straight rake both achieve different results. We designed the Comb to suit your style of WDT.

The name comes from the fact that it traps the aroma of coffee like a barrel of wine. The lack of a handle allows you to wrap the cup in your hand and feel the temperature of the drink directly. It also has the advantage of being easy to store.
Origami pour over drippers were designed by Yasuo Suzuki, founder of Trunk Coffee and Origami Japan.
