PULLS THE PERFECT CUP:
The pantented wave design reduces contact between the brewing space and the filter itself for a more balanced extraction and a flavorful, full-bodied cup of coffee every time. The design of the filters work in perfect harmony with Kalita Wave drippers to create a pool of water on top of the coffee bed that can help control agitation, helping maintain a uniform extraction without too much turbulation (which could lead to over extraction).
PERFECT FOR BEGINNERS AND PROFESSIONALS:
You’ll find the Kalita Wave pour over coffee filters used in the world’s top specialty cafes and professional coffee-making competitions. But they are also the perfect filters for pour-over beginners. Cone filters require perfect grinds and pouring technique in order to prevent stalling and over-extraction. The wave filter’s flat bottom, on the other hand, maintains a wide and even coffee bed, allowing water to permeate and leave the filter evenly.
PREMIUM CONSTRUCTION:
Made in Japan out premium thick paper stock. Our Kalita Wave 185 filters are oxygen bleached for environmental sustainability and to maintain your coffee’s perfect balanced taste.
SPECIALLY MADE FOR KALITA WAVE POUR-OVER DRIPPERS:
For best results use your Kalita Wave filters with the same size Kalita Wave dripper in either glass, ceramic or stainless steel.

Timemore Crystal Eye Dripper : It is made of PCTG resin, BPA-free, durable and easy to clean. The new design makes the filter paper closer fits with the dripper.
Three-layer construction is clear. The first layer is sealed layer where water cannot pass because there’s no groove on the surface. It can control the water-flow when you pour in a large water flow; The second is water layer where you can pour water. The area of the concave lessen gradually in order to control the speed of the water flow; The last is coffee layer where 15/20g coffee ground just take over. Large amount of grooves can make the extraction more even.
Filter paper fully fits the dripper. The special design of groove makes the dripper surface a fully cone so it solve the problem of fitness with the filter and the dripper. It’s easy to make a coffee ground even you’re a beginner.
Change the traditional pattern. Instead of controlling the water flow by ribs like traditional filter cups, it is designed to be concave in most areas, so that the water flow is more uniform and smooth, with the smooth permeability, there is no need to worry about over-extraction when the water flow is slow.

Nucleus Paragon Espresso Brewer is here! Take your espresso quality to the next level with latest innovation
Effortless extract chilling for espressos. Say goodbye to makeshift setups, Nucleus brings the Paragon Chilling Rock to your espresso routine with this clever, lightweight design. Just place the Paragon Espresso on top of your cup and pull your shot as your normally would. Easy! This set includes 4 Paragon Chilling Rocks and 2 Paragon Espresso Mounts.
Enhanced flavours
Developed in collaboration with Zurich University of Applied Science (ZHAW), the Paragon Chilling Rock quickly cools down the extracted coffee as it touches the rock, locking in more flavours that would otherwise have been lost without the chilling technique.
In ZHAW’s research on volatile aroma compounds, they discovered that instantaneous cooling of the extraction would trap these compounds and result in more aromatic and flavour-rich coffees.
Optimal cooling
Unlike ordinary whiskey rocks, the Paragon Chilling Rock is specifically designed for use with coffee. They are made with titanium-coated stainless steel making them incredibly durable. Inside, these rocks are filled with a high-density liquid to keep them at the optimal temperature needed for effective extract chilling. They’re also designed to rapidly and evenly cool the coffee extraction that touches them.
Paragon Espresso Mount
No more balancing acts and makeshift stands! The Paragon Espresso Mount serves as a stable platform for the Paragon Chilling Rock and can be easily set on top of any cup. This custom mount is height-adjustable to accommodate different cups and coffee machines and is designed with anti-slip grips.
Nucleus Paragon Espresso Brewer Features Designed for extract chilling – The Paragon Chilling Rock is designed to quickly and evenly cool the extractions that pass over it. Richer flavours and aromas – Extract chilling retains more of the volatile aroma compounds responsible for the delicious sensory experience that comes with coffee, which is usually lost in more traditional brewing techniques. Durable – Made with titanium-coated steel for durability. Rapid cooling – The rocks are filled with high-density gel that keeps them at the perfect temperature for rapid cooling of the extraction. Easy to use – The kit comes with the Paragon Espresso Mount which serves as a base for the chilling rock and can be set atop your favourite espresso cup.

This led to the idea of redesigning an espresso machine, which he and bassist Aric Forbing, a machine pattern engineer, developed to fit neatly under the counter. Modbar enables its customers to design the perfect workflow and ensure efficiency.
