Peak Water Filters are fully-recyclable and feature a premium dual-ion resin, coupled with carbon filtration, designed to tackle a variety of tap waters around the world.
Peak Water is a world-first adjustable home water filter jug, designed to bring the industry technology behind all the great coffee in cafes and restaurants, to everyone. In early 2017, we struck upon the innovation to took an everyday. Accessible water filter format like a home filter jug and integrated a variable filter system into it. This was the birth of Peak Water. In 2018, we launched a successful Kickstarter campaign and in 2019 started taking pre-orders, before officially launching Peak Water V1 in 2020.
The Endurance Filter utilises a cat ion resin which in combination with the Peak Water bypass system, allows for control of the alkalinity in the water. The Endurance Filter lowers the overall TDS to a lesser degree than the Precision Filter, but allows for alkalinity control whilst maintaining a significantly longer life and number of litres filtered.
The Filter also contains activated carbon to treat contaminants in the source water, as well as a sodium buffer to help stabilise PH.

Brewing vessel
The porcelain-brewing vessel allows easy filling with coffee grounds and water due to its conical format. The shape facilitates manual agitation as well as cleaning, either by hand or in the dishwasher. The vessel is custom hand made by a family owned company in Bavaria/Germany and guarantees timelessness, food safety and pure taste.
Collar
The collar is made of solid and food safe silicone, in accordance the FDA and EU standards and is dishwasher safe. It holds the brewing vessel on the cup providing an airtight seal between both components. An air duct is integrated into the collar where the manual pump can be connected.
Manual Pump
The manual pump is used to evacuate the volume beneath the brewer, pulling the water through the coffee bed. Before taking cuptimo off the cup, the negative pressure has to be released. This can be done by pressing the button on the pump.
Filter paper
To be able to guarantee the necessary quality and taste, solely companies that manufacture in compliance to German quality and food safety standards have been considered. Several filters have been tested but the filter papers choosen for cuptimo stood out by its taste characteristics. cuptimos filter paper is manufactured in Switzerland, using Alp spring water in a non-circulatory process, which avoids negative taste effects on the coffee.
How it works
First, a filter paper disk is placed in the brewing vessel and rinsed with some brewing water so that it adheres to the bottom. The cuptimo brewer is placed on top of a cup or a carafe with a level top lid. This is necessary to enable the negative pressure to be build up for accelerated extraction.
Cuptimo is a full immersion brewer. All the brewing water can get in contact with the coffee at the same time. To improve even extraction, the slurry can be agitated with various methods through the top opening of the brewing vessel. Cuptimo allows to use finer grind sizes than other filter brewing methods, ranging from 2 to 20+ clicks on the Comandante Grinder. To start the vacuum extraction, the hose of the manual pump is connected to the collar. Depending on the surface condition of the cup it may be necessary to apply some pressure from top so that all gaps close and the negative pressure can be established. Once all the coffee is in the cup, the vacuum can be released by pushing the button on the manual pump for taking off the brewer
Properties and advantages
Full flavor because of zero-bypass vacuum extraction: As all brewing water is pulled through the full height of the coffee bed, an even, efficient extraction is achieved and the occurrence of channeling is minimized. Reduced bitterness and astringency through the reduced brew time and because all water has to pass through the full height of the coffee bed, effectively filtering out the big coffee compounds causing astringency.
Grind size according to taste preference: Most brewing methods require a specific grind size to work properly. Cuptimo offers the possibility to choose grind size of a very wide range (2 to 20+ clicks on the Comandante Grinder). Finer grinds make it easier to extract light roasts as well as producing an even extraction as the particle size variation is reduced. Full immersion brewing. Achieves exceptional high extraction yields (TDS:1.8+, EY28+). In general sweeter, more balanced cups with reduced bitterness and astringency.

Lesser, faster and stronger.
Minimising the contact between the brewer and a paper filter, maximising the flow rate. And also because of the other reasons below, the extraction yield gets high and the coffee is brewed strong enough.
A big hole of 40mm
The hole bigger than any other traditional brewers never disturbs the flow.
Air vent between the brewer and server
Three legs make an air vent between the brewer and server which lets air go out and accelerates the flow.
Pseudo Double Wall Structure
In traditional pour over brewers, the inside temperature goes down while brewing. On the other hand, SIMPLIFY the Brewer keeps the temperature inside with its unique pseudo double wall structure of the brewer and a paper filter.
Six bottom protrusions
The protrusions deform the bottom of the paper filter. The deformation urges water to move inside SIMPLIFY the Brewer, which helps to extract more and more.
Perfect material for brewers.
The thermal conductivity of plastics are lower than a quarter of glasses’ or ceramics’, and it helps brewing to be more stable (for more information about this, see here). Among many kinds of plastics, we have chosen TROGAMID® CX by Evonik Industries AG, a BPA-free transparent nylon, which is perfect for brewers.
Reliable food safety standards
TROGAMID® CX is approved for food contact by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). It is also compatible to Japanese Food Sanitation Act.
Crystal clarity
Because of its crystal clarity, TROGAMID® CX is also used for optical goods. High ultraviolet resistance keeps its transparency permanently.
Ultra-strong
TROGAMID® CX features excellent durability and resistance to any shock , you can use it for a long time.
Ultra-light
The gravity of TROGAMID® CX is 1.02, and its weight is less than a half of glasses’ or ceramics’. SIMPLIFY the Brewer itself weighs only about 50g.
Paper filters you can get anywhere.
We recommend Kalita Wave Filter 185. The standard filter simplifys your filter-purchasing.

The Bruer® Cold Brew System utilises a clean and functional design while maintaining the quality of the brewing process, and ultimately the end product. Cold-brewed coffee has much less acidity and bitterness, making it perfect for iced coffee drinks. Drip by drip, The Bruer’s slow hypnotic process unmasks the natural sweetness, and full-bodied origin flavours of any coffee you brew. Slow drip methodology eliminates the risk of over-extraction, a common issue with full immersion cold brewing.
The process is quite visually appealing – the Bruer has 3 levels: the water, the coffee grounds, and the coffee collection chamber. Water slowly drips down the water chamber and into the coffee chamber, slowly saturating the coffee grounds and continuing through to the coffee carafe. The Bruer’s worthy design is made from all high-quality materials including Borosilicate Glass, Stainless Steel, and Food Grade Silicone. The beauty of the Bruer is that it’s practical and reasonably priced, making cold-brewed coffee is easy with the Bruer!
Features:
• The Bruer® Cold Brew System makes upto 20 fl oz of cold brew in as little as 4 hours
• Set it up and let it go without the risk of over-extraction.
• Start brewing before bed or work.
• With an adjustable valve you can experiment to make the perfect coffee for you.
• Cold Brew will last up to two weeks in the fridge
Bruer is dedicated to creating quality products that celebrate the process of brewing coffee and cold coffee. Brewing cold coffee is not just about the end product, it's about the ritual behind it. The word comes from German and Jewish (Ashkenazic): occupational name for a brewer of beer or ale, from Middle High German briuwer 'brewer'.
