The Comandante® C60 Baracuda is the latest development from the German manufacturer comandante. It is equipped with the largest and most advanced burr among the comandante mills, which enables even and fast grinding. The burr is made of high-alloy stainless steel with a high nitrogen content.

As with all C60 grinders, it comes with our Gold Clix® axle, a black crank and two polymer bean jars (one clear and one orange with this model) as standard. ‘Nautilus Blue’ uses our super robust powder coating finish on its solid stainless steel body.

The Comandante® C60 Baracuda features the new GX50 Gold Clix® setting, ensuring exceptional precision and a variety of grind settings for filter coffee to espresso. Thanks to the fine GX50 thread, a very fine grinding degree adjustment is possible. The knob for adjusting the grinding level is made of brass.

The mill body is made from a block of high-quality stainless steel. This unibody construction makes the mill particularly robust and durable. The Comandante® C60 Baracuda is equipped with an XL crank with a wooden Big Joe Knob.

Each comandante mill comes with two glasses: 1 × brown glass and 1 × clear polymer glass. The latter is light, durable and can be used as a cup! Both containers are easy to clean and have a capacity of 40 g.

The C60’s unibody construction, milled and crafted out of a single block of stainless steel, ensures absolute stability and maximum drivetrain efficiency. The bold and clear-cut design perfectly supports the function. It’s a hefty 1kg workhorse. The Beast among hand grinders.

Our Baracuda® burr set is optimized to deliver an exceptional particle distribution at rapid speed. With comfortable crank torque and powerful grinding action, it is incredibly satisfying to use. 

Baracuda takes advantage of our proprietary Nitro Blade® steel, the absolute pinnacle for burr technology thanks to its outstanding hardness and edge retention, guaranteeing a lifetime of incredible grind performance. 

The burr’s surface is highly inert, avoiding premature oxidation of and reaction with beans during the grinding process, preserving the intricate complexity of high-quality coffee. That also makes it incredible for use with tea, salt, pepper, or other dry herbs and spices.
