Why everyone is talking about the UFO dripper

The UFO dripper has quickly become one of the most sought-after brewers in specialty coffee. Designed to address the inconsistencies of traditional conical drippers, it offers an innovative geometry and air channel system that helps brewers achieve better clarity, control and consistency.

What makes it different?

  • First, the 80° interior angle

    This shallower wall shape slows extraction slightly, allowing a more even contact time across various dose sizes. Unlike steeper conical that suffer from uneven bed depth changes and clogging at smaller doses, the UFO maintains consistency and flow integrity.

  • Second, the air channel technology

    Instead of using raised ribs, the UFO uses air channels that equalize pressure above and below the filter. This prevents stalling and ensures more predictable brews.

  • Lastly, build quality

    The Tritan version is thermally stable and durable. The ceramic version adds heat retention and tactile beauty. Both versions are compatible with standard cone-shaped filters as well as Sibarist UFO filters.
